Over the course of a multi-day build led by Jerome Baker Designs and sponsored by The Weekend Unlimited, glass artists celebrated cannabis culture and history by coming together to build the world’s largest bong.
Celebrating the End of Prohibition with a Giant Bong
“Essentially this is the Freedom Bong,” head glass blower Charles Lowrie told Q13 News. “This is the time of life we arriving to collective consciousness.”
The bong, which has also been nicknamed Bongzilla, will weigh at least 800 pounds, and will require a roughly 11,000 mile journey to its final home. The piece is scheduled to be installed at Cannabition cannabis museum in Las Vegas, an adult-playground that is completely cannabis-themed.
